editing clips on the track

 Welcome back to my commercial journey! Today had to be one of my favorite days for sure. I edited half our video today. When I was in class, I used the app iMovie and created our commercial through there. I first started by adding the scene of Darrow running on the track where he was drained of energy. I put this first to show the lead up on the effect of the actual Red Bull. I cut the clip a little bit just to make sure I left room for all the others, as the video can only be 30 seconds. Next I added and edited the clip of someone handing the Red Bull to him. I also was adding transitions throughout each scene to give it a clean and professional look. All the clips were looking really good together and going together smoothly. Next we decided to put in all the rest of the clips from the track. We edited some to make them slow-motion. While for others, we sped them up to make them faster. I used a slide transition into some clips where it was a different location. Today my main focus was to edit the track clips, then do the final editing next class. I wanted to spread the editing out to make sure everything was perfect, and precise. I love the way it is looking so far. Next class I am going to edit the skateboarding clips and some of the last scenes. While also adding music to the commercial as well. Can't wait to keep my blog updated with this amazing editing process I am doing!

  Today was an exciting day for us! We actually chose some of the music for our movie. This took us a while to find because of copyright issues. There is a lot of choice on youtube but we couldn’t quite fine the one we wanted. It had to be a sort of suspenseful sound. We looked for days trying to find one that matched well. We came to a decision of a couple good ones and we chose between them and picked the one that fit the mood the best. We needed to find multiple. Each particular scene needed some sort of background noise or music. Island music was necessary because it was used a lot when writing the script. When finding good island music on youtube we stumbled upon a lot of good options. During the process we chose a good one that was again free of copyright. hard work with editing

  It’s almost that time! Dellana and I are so excited to say that we are almost done with our movie journey ! We ran into some problems on the way with all of it. Although we still pushed through and got the editing done. We had some problems with adding the music and sound effects. Unfortunately they were not linking properly to the movie. We tried many options to get it to work and all of them failed. We then began to panic a little bit. We looked up some videos on youtube to try and help us. We finally found one that was helpful. We proceeded back to editing and it finally worked! Unfortunately that wasn’t all. Then some clips disappeared while editing as well. We recovered them thank goodness. We were a little stressed to say the least over everything that had been going on. After we managed to fix everything, we were very relieved. This was just a minor bump that we needed to overcome. Hello again!  In my group for this project it is Dellana Radzwill, Darrow Nasca, and Myself. We were looking to research energy drinks, the one that caught our eye was Red Bull. After making a unanimous decision we decided to research more into Red Bull. We are working together quite well as a group. We all have different good qualities we have to offer, that makes us cooperate. Darrow has experience in acting which will make our commercial professional. Dellana is a good filmer, and I like to consider myself a good editor. We are going to work together and find more valuable information towards our commercial.
