Filming on the track

 Back at it again with the filming! Today my group and I went to the school track to do some of our final filming. Dellana (our filmer) was unfortunately absent. So it was just Darrow and myself today, so I was filming for her. We were filming for quite some time trying to get some good clips. We brought in a new Red Bull as well to use. I first filmed the clip of him running slowly and all burnt out of energy. Then I kindly asked a fellow classmate if he could be the actor in which who offers Darrow the Red Bull because he is so tired. I then filmed that clip and it turned out great. The next scene I filmed was the actual opening of the can of Red Bull. I was really trying to capture that crisp sound of opening a can of Red Bull. Next we had to film him actually drinking the energy drink and getting a sudden rush in his body. We then filmed him running very fast and jumping over the hurdles on the track. Darrow was being very cooperative as it was very hot outside. The last thing I wanted to film that was actually an idea we both had all of a sudden was to get a clip of him jumping in the air so we can edit wings on to him. We thought of this because of the slogan, "Red Bull gives you wings", to portray that he is flying. Overall it was a successful filming day and we got a lot of work done. Just some finishing touches and boom! Our commercial will be ready to edit. Before you know it, it will be complete! Catch you next time.

  Today was an exciting day for us! We actually chose some of the music for our movie. This took us a while to find because of copyright issues. There is a lot of choice on youtube but we couldn’t quite fine the one we wanted. It had to be a sort of suspenseful sound. We looked for days trying to find one that matched well. We came to a decision of a couple good ones and we chose between them and picked the one that fit the mood the best. We needed to find multiple. Each particular scene needed some sort of background noise or music. Island music was necessary because it was used a lot when writing the script. When finding good island music on youtube we stumbled upon a lot of good options. During the process we chose a good one that was again free of copyright. hard work with editing

  It’s almost that time! Dellana and I are so excited to say that we are almost done with our movie journey ! We ran into some problems on the way with all of it. Although we still pushed through and got the editing done. We had some problems with adding the music and sound effects. Unfortunately they were not linking properly to the movie. We tried many options to get it to work and all of them failed. We then began to panic a little bit. We looked up some videos on youtube to try and help us. We finally found one that was helpful. We proceeded back to editing and it finally worked! Unfortunately that wasn’t all. Then some clips disappeared while editing as well. We recovered them thank goodness. We were a little stressed to say the least over everything that had been going on. After we managed to fix everything, we were very relieved. This was just a minor bump that we needed to overcome. Hello again!  In my group for this project it is Dellana Radzwill, Darrow Nasca, and Myself. We were looking to research energy drinks, the one that caught our eye was Red Bull. After making a unanimous decision we decided to research more into Red Bull. We are working together quite well as a group. We all have different good qualities we have to offer, that makes us cooperate. Darrow has experience in acting which will make our commercial professional. Dellana is a good filmer, and I like to consider myself a good editor. We are going to work together and find more valuable information towards our commercial.
