come edit with me!

   Hello again! So today was actually very productive. My group and I finished up the last parts to be filmed. So we actually are done filming! We are now going to edit the video and look at all our of finished scenes to see if anything needs to be fixed or changed. We finished filming the beginning scene where darrow and allison get in the car, and just them walking around, and also them on the phone with each other. We got a lot of clips so we might need to trim some up for it to fit the time requirement. We actually used different parts of the song so the chorus wouldn’t be too repetitive. So we could have some different lyrics to present in the video itself. Like I said while we were editing the clips were too long so we had to cut some of them down to fit the time. We did this perfectly fine and we trimmed them. We also used a split screen for the phone call scene, this looked so good! After we actually finished editing, we had to once again, cut the clips a bit shorter because we were over by 5 seconds. We then added the transitions between each clip on iMovie, we used multiple different ones to do this. We think it looks so professional and just happy and upbeat. Lastly we added the music and we were done! Overall this music video we had so much fun making. It bought out our creative sides for sure. We turned this song into a story which we all thought was pretty cool. I can’t wait to show you the video next time. Well that was my editing journey!
